Tip #4 : If you are refrigerating the cucumber salad overnight, it is important to season the sliced cucumbers with salt. Place them in a colander sitting in a bowl in the fridge for about half an hour. This allows the salt to draw out the excess moisture. Once the cucumber has drained, discard the liquid and continue on with your recipe
