Tip #1 You can make a kidney bean salad in advance as part of a meal prep. All you have to do is mix the beans, chopped veggies and cilantro together. However do not add the dressing. Store the dressing in the fridge in a separate glass container until you are ready to use it.

Tip #2 You can use different kinds of beans such as black beans, white beans or even chickpeas.

Tip #4 Boiling Kidney Beans It is important to cook the beans thoroughly before using. If you decide to use dry beans about to cook them, make sure to pre soak it for atleast 8 hours.

Tip #5 Make ahead tip : If you are going to make the salad in large volume, cook the beans before hand and store in a fridge in an airtight container for about 3 or 4 days. Chop the veggies and mix the beans just before serving.
